Melly and i went to the Massimo Dutti spring/summer collection preview tonight at Gardens
she was 'with the media' ooO
it was really fun since it's her first time covering this kind of events for her new job at tongue in chic. i was her little helper =)

my favourite look

the clothes were so pretty, it's everything i crave right now!
like light washed denim, floral prints, boho dresses, ohh i love the brown leather jackets! ohh and the gladiator-ish sandals bernie chan wore.
oh we met bernie chan, she's really pretty and friendly, i think i'm as tall as she is.
and then there was the other local 'celebrities' don't know their names.

anyhoo i think ate too much food, but i can't help it the waitress kept tempting me! love the strawberry mousse thing mm! and the brownies! and lychee lime punch, so full

two fleas with one stone (markets, of course)

been looking forward to this for quite a while, but now that i'm back, skin sticky hair sweaty and all, i'm wondering whats the big hoo-ha

both markets (pick n grab, bijou bazaar) were puny but crowded
i did found some killer granny dresses but they were all second hand stuff (sweat stains . . traumatizing)
either than that, everything else was blah, seen one seen em' all , you know

on the bright side, i did see some pretty cool indie designs
and i managed to buy a ring with a beetle on a leaf on it, that i looove

Hat Day!

yesterday was 'wear a hat day' for hannah and i, it's was a spurr of the moment thing
she wore her big straw hat and i wore my french beret =)

i felt so french that day with my bow tie and all, plus we were listening to Lauren caught my eye by The Crash *sigh =) in the car and the chorus was in french


yes i did wore the same outfit on saturday but if Anna Wintour can repeat her Narciso Rodriguez then it's alrite

although our expressions are kinda messed up, i kinda like this picture

i love this band! their from finland but they sound really british (well maybe because they sing with an accent)

anyhoo best time to listen this their song . . all the time ( especially when your crushing on someone)

went to Bangsar today
gotta say i like it a lot. . . i saw plenty of indie designs here and there , i feel now even more inspired to work on my indie projects =)
oh and i love the fact that there's cafes and desert shops tucked away at ever corner

so my day started with lunch at Delicious in bangar village to celebrate tze's 18th bday
then it's off to the little shops scattered all over Bangsar

then this alley caught melly's eye, and with references to the muff stit girls, we took pictures there
i know i know taking pictures in some alley is kinda odd . . but the results are so nice, i don't have the pictures to prove so go to melly's blog to see it

then the rain had to put an end to all our fun, went back to have cupcakes (well it is tze horng's birthday after all) at Marmalade, this shop has something for colours, feel like a kids playschool

break!

i've got a mid semester break starting next week, but it's just a week =[
looking forward to more girls day out with my bestest girlfriend! oh and i'm helping Melissa with her new job working for tongue in chic
but it's not all fun and games since i'm burried knee deep in assignments, plus spm results are rumoured to be released during the week. . yikes!

swim our hearts out

phew! second time behind the wheel on my own. . and my friends and i are still alive!
woke up really early to swim with melly and wen lian at my condo, my first time swimming in years.
i was really excited and looking forward to it after my long and stressful test filled week in college.
well, we didn't really swim much since only wen lian knows how to swim but we did however spend 7o percent of our time there chit-chating in the jacuzzi

gotta love that 10 seconds timer, but we look like we're from three separate pictures =]

later that day we met wen lian's good friends Sasha and Linston for lunch
