Jamie Oliver's basic bread dough recipe

1kg strong/baker's flour plus extra to dust

7g sachet dry active yeast

1tsp salt

1tbsp sugar

175ml milk

175ml water

step one
mix the stuff, wet to dry


step two, the fun part!


step three - proof for 30 in a hot place, in this case . . the car =)

step four - bake

done
not bad for my first try =)

i just finished watching the whole season two of gossip girl, i swear the only time i stopped was to eat sleep or read nymag's reality index of each episode,boy are they spot-on on some stuff , http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2009/05/gossip_girls_georgina_ex_machi.html, 

right now  i'm going through all the post-tv-series-marathon syntoms eg. hearing the character voices in my head, not to mention background music, constantly talking about it even though you know people just want you to shut up, et cetera. . . btw aren't you just glad that chuck and blair finally said i love you to each other at the same time

so now i'm stuck with a void in my life, just like the time i found out they canceled Camp Lazlo,or like that episode in the powerpuff girl where the crazy fat fan guy finished collecting all the ppg mechandise and craved for more (don't act like you don't know what i'm talking about)

what to do! tried facebook, ended up making a how well do you know me quiz.

anyhoo i've got a two weeks mid semester break starting yesterday, btw can't believe semester one is over, that was 10 grand ok!

i'm thinking i should do something, make more rings! haha

gosh, can't believe it's been almost six years

shmission

ah just came back from a good shopping trip with hannah, im so hyper now i'm just gonna spill the good news in one breath. . 

we're on a mission, a shoe mission, we want/need shoes! first stop Zara ooo tried so many jumpsuits long short colourful, fell in love with this long black cotton one it's so fun and comfy it just screams 'buy me! love me!' too bad its so expensive, but i still held on to it, hannah tried to yank it from me so i bit her, nah i'm not that crazy, oh and she saw this gorgeous bag and dress too, too many things! so i called my sis to see if the jumpsuit is worth it  cause i really love it, knocked some sense into my brain, got a little side track then, ok then we went to topshop to see if they have the shoes im looking for and hallelujah they do but no size darn so walk some more, found the same pair of boots that hannah saw in melb, but they didnt have her size then, again in isetan and they had her size, how lucky is she, so put it on hold and went to robinson to see her oxfords and guess what they have the same boots too but 30 bucks more expensive, so we asked why, then the fella called isetan and what we didnt know was that fella told them to change the price to 200 which is 30 bucks more, not cool, so went back to topshop, give my brogues another shot and it fits perfectly this time i didn't need a bigger size, so we were hugging each other like mad people in the shop, next problem hannah's atm card bounced so called the company blah blah blah got the money bought the shoes and now i'm on a shoe high! . . . *phew

it's my Birthday!!

labour day

went out with my besties today.
mr. chong's 'labour day' homework can wait.
my first time driving since the car accident. although melly helped park the car and drive when the sun went down, i think it's an improvement =)

we had lunch at frienster cafe, damansara perdana. its got a lame name (frienster? nobody uses that any more) but i really like that place, they've got good food there, but don't eat the cakes it's not nice. i seriously think there isn't any good cakes in malaysia.

then we went to one u because wen lian wanted to get sunnies (she didn't find any, but i did =)
they were having some fashion thing there which melly was covering last nite but it was her day off today
anyhoo they same models that were at the ed hardy show last week were there, more specifically the russian guy (the one with the gay smile, we give them names) that melly met few weeks ago but couldn't understand a word he said because he doesn't speak english, he just mumbles gibberish.
anyhoo the next few sentences are too hilarious/embarrassing to type out

all in all it was a perfect example of how a great girls day out should be. now if only we had more money to spare. .
i really miss you girls =)
